Rollercoaster Unofficial DVD Commentary

CommentaryBack in the late 70's, people were crazy for disaster films. There were movies about earthquakes, airplane disasters, war and even one about roller coasters.

In 1977, Universal Studios released a film about a madman (played by Timothy Bottoms) who was crisscrossing the country to set off bombs at amusement parks.

He wanted the theme park chains to give him one million dollars or he would continue to blow up roller coasters and dark rides. It turns out that the only guy smart enough to stop him was a chain-smoking safety inspector (played by George Segal) who gets on the case after the madman sets off a bomb on a coaster that he personally inspected.

As a special bonus to our regular episode where we discussed this classic movie, we have produced a full-length unofficial commentary where we point out interacting facts and trivia about the film in real-time.
